The Haunted Chair

August 22nd, 2007

One day my friends and I were having a sleepover at my grandma’s house. So we were telling ghost stories and I had suggested that we go to my aunt’s house and sit in a chair that pulled your hair. So my friend Katie sat down in the chair.  At first nothing happened and then all of the sudden her hair jerked back and she was screaming for help, but we all didn’t know what to do.

One of my friends Mackenzie had already jumped of the porch and was in my grandma’s yard, and yelled for help. The ghost just suddenly let go and Katie jumped up in fear. We all ran over to my grandma’s and didn’t speak of it again.  Since that incident they threw the chair out.

Black Cat Ghost

August 19th, 2007

One day I was in my room, laying on my bed, watching TV. I was paying attention completely to the TV when I started to hear something that sounded like a cat in my attic, which was connected to my room. I lowered the volume on the TV to be able to hear it better. At first I thought it was my cat, Tom, but I then remembered that he was in the living room sleeping. I also then realized that it didn’t sound anything like my cat, but almost like my last cat, Misty. After a few minutes the meowing stopped and I just bushed it off thinking that it couldn’t be anything bad

For two weeks I kept on hearing meowing in the attic at night, have it continue for a couple of minutes, then everything would go quiet. One night I was down in the basement on the computer talking to one of my friends online. I was typing something when I got the sudden feeling of being watched. I didn’t pay attention to it at first because the feeling didn’t feel strong at first. After a while the feeling was stating to get me paranoid, so I turned around to look around the room. I looked towards the other side of the room and saw what looked like a black cat walking towards me. I turned forward thinking that it was cat and that there was no lights over there to show him clearly. But I then realized that it had no eyes, nose, nothing. That it was more like a shadow. I turned back towards it quickly seeing that the ‘cat’ started to run and went behind me. I looked behind me and saw that there was nothing there. I never saw the ‘cat’ again and I never heard the meowing again.

This happened when I was 13 about two years ago. Since then I have moved to a different room in my house. Not because I wanted to but my parents wanted to paint my but never did. So now my aunt lives in that room but she says she has never heard anything in there.

Sometimes Your Child’s Imaginary Friend is a Real Ghost!

August 18th, 2007

Did you have an imaginary friend as a child? Perhaps you have a child right now who has an imaginary friend.

Sometimes a young child just needs to have a special friend. Their imagination is very vivid and can seem almost real to them. Sometimes they create an imaginary friend to keep them company and share their thoughts.

Have you ever thought that a ghost could come into contact with a young child and become their “friend”? They talk with others about their friend, whom no one else can see, and it is generally assumed that the child has an imaginary friend.

Night-Time Fright-Time

August 18th, 2007

One night, when I was about six, I was looking away from the wall, with my head uncovered. This is weird for me to do, for I usually sleep with my head completely covered, facing the wall. Anyway, I saw a pair of extremely long white, blurry strips.

It was completely dark in the room because there was a blanket covering the window. I heard a hoarse giggling as the strips went past me and toward the space separating my toy box and bed. All of the sudden, the giggling stopped. And it was a midnight-like silence. It must have went under my bed because I heard and felt a thump-thump.

I absolutely swear that I was not asleep, as my family claims I was. What was it? My mom said that the previous renter passed away. Could it have been her?

This was a ghastly event that happened when I was 6-years-old, when I was supposed to be sleeping.

My Ouija Board Experience

August 17th, 2007

It was a warm summer day when a few of us got together to play with a Ouija board. We were all asking it if we would be happy and have families. Stuff 14 year old girls would want to know. My friend Leslie asked if she would die an old woman. It said, No! She would die soon. We put the board up.

Two weeks later Leslie was stabbed several times. I went to her house a couple of weeks later and her mom had found the Ouija board and decided to throw it away. We went downstairs, threw it in a trash can, and stopped to get a drink. We went back upstairs and the Ouija board was lying on the bed. That was one moment I will never forget. The hair on the back of my neck stood up.

I have never used a Ouija board again. It is not a toy. I have told my kids never to play with one. I will never forget my friend Leslie. If you do not know what you are doing do not play with a Ouija Board. Just telling this story makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I always get a cold chill when I talk about it.

I have had several encounters with things I cannot explain. Sometimes I thought I was out of my mind. I know things happen that just can’t be explained, but it still gives you an eerie feeling. Some things just can’t be explained by science.

I used to not believe in ghosts, but after that one encounter, that was all I needed. Supernatural things are out there. You just have to be open minded.

Leslie has been gone now for 22 years, I really miss her.

Hell House

August 11th, 2007

Hell House has been known in Huntsville, Alabama for years. It is located by Kent Robertson Park. Some people say it is haunted by one of the most tragic stories in Huntsville history.

A family of three were murdered in the house back in 1987. Jeffery Crawford 41, Barbara Crawford 39, and Sara Crawford age 8. You can still see them on the day they were murdered. Their murderer was never found.

Also, there is an evil presence in Hell House. Kerry Overton, the last owner of the house, shot himself in the head in the down stairs bathroom when the police came looking for him for not disposing of cremated bodies properly.

To this day no one lives in the house. It has been said that the house will be demolished to make way for the Chaffee Volunteer Fire Department.

Is this real or a hoax?

August 1st, 2007

If this is real, then this has to be one of the best evidence of a spirit ever caught on film. This creepy image was caught on film by a security camera at the Hampton Court Palace in London England. The camera was installed to try and catch who had been leaving the fire doors open.

This is what was caught on film. This person is not an employee, and has never been identified.

ghost or hoax?
