Today, the vampire, or vampyre, is thought of quite differently than they were hundreds of years ago. Instead of being feared, many folks emulate the Hollywood version of a vampire…such as those made famous in books by author Anne Rice. These people long for the power and above all, immortality, that these creatures are said to possess. But, is there any real evidence for the existence of such a creature? Some say yes.
